[yellow pops & leopard spots]

This post was inspired by my beautiful yellow, leopard print lined boots from Flannel and my studded leopard ballet flats. I've had so much wear out of my flats (I almost went back for a second pair) and plenty of comments about the those studs! There was something about THOSE yellow boots that I could not go past - they are definitely not something I would usually go for...but I LOVE them!!

Some more spots and a pop of yellow......any faves??

[editorial- Hyogo Banshu Japan Program]

I'm trying to keep a little record of the editorial that has come about because of the Hyogo Banshu Japan Program and the Perth Fashion Festival. Here is a few bits and pieces....more to come though!

The above two beautiful pictures are thanks to: Emma (styling from All of the Above Creative), Aaron  McPolin (photographer) and Rebecca (model from Scene) all for the Perth Fashion Festival photo shoot.

There was also a small documentary made by John from Cut and Paste for the Perth Fashion Festival which premièred at the show. It shows behind the scenes of the photo shoot and has interviews with the designers.

[parade night!-PFF]

On Monday night I finally presented my collection for the WA Hyogo Banshu parade at the Perth Fashion Festival along with the other 5 participants in the Japanese Textile Scholarship Program. Our own fabric which we designed and collaborated on during the program were featured in our collections along with other quality Banshu fabric.

A big thanks to Emma Bergmeier from All of the Above Creative and the Perth Fashion Festival
for putting together and hosting such an amazing show!!!!
(and folding a thousand paper cranes for the magnificent chandelier)
