[Bloody Oxblood] Not Red Not Brown

Oxblood is definitely making its mark this season and although it has been around for longer than some might think, I believe its presence will continue to linger in the future. As you can see in this post, it is a really versatile hue. I love how it can be translated into many forms of fashion, beauty and accessories.
On the top of my wish list is an oxblood leather jacket, the kind of leather that has that aged, beaten look in a deep rich oxblood tone (not red, not brown), a pair of ankle boots in a slightly lighter earthier oxblood and a bag (I'm eyeing the Alexander Wang Printed Lizard Marion Bag or the Marc by Marc Jacobs Too Hot to Handle textured leather tote

PART II: Perth Fashion Festival 2012 {Day 3-5}

So here is PART II of the amazing week that was Perth Fashion Festival 2012! I was so impressed with the calibre and innovation of the WA designers and retailers that presented at this years events.
Part II includes WA Designer Collections, Student Runway and Ae'lkemi.

See PART I, it includes Official Program Launch, VIP Opening Night: One Fell Swoop, Myer Fashion Luncheon, Garth Cook, Kim Barton and Steph Audino.

WA DESIGNER COLLECTIONS
@ FASHION PARAMOUNT, THE MUSEUM OF WA - 21ST SEPTEMBER

The WA Designer Collections show certainly put the spotlight on the future fashion leaders of WA presenting up-and-coming labels such as On a Whim, Martini + Coz, Betty Tran and Wild Horses.
Designers presenting at WADC included: Alushia Sanchia, Ange Lang, Anna Excell, Betty Tran, Catini Designs, Little Gracie, Martini + Coz, Monster Alphabets, Neleh & Heath, On a Whim, Peppermint Milk, Tindale and Wild Horses. What a line up!!!!!

STUDENT RUNWAY
@ FASHION PARAMOUNT, THE MUSEUM OF WA - 22ND SEPTEMBER

Nothing was left out at the Student Runway show with head to toe attention to detail making a statement on the runway!

AE'LKEMI
@ FASHION PARAMOUNT, THE MUSEUM OF WA - 22ND SEPTEMBER

Ae'lkemi presented his Spring Summer 12/13 collection entitled Lumière to a captivated audience on the last night of the catwalk parades at Fashion Paramount. Designer Alvin Fernandez sent glamazons down the runway with a fierce look in their eyes framed by gold foiled brows. Showcasing his signature one-shouldered gowns and beautiful prints, Alvin also incorporated new wetsuit-like fabrics, sporty silhouettes and floor-length sheer lace gowns.

It's a Euro Thing [Street Style: Colour]

There is definitely something going on in Europe lately!
With the wrap up of the Fall 2012 Fashion Shows it has been a very busy time for photographers Tommy Ton, Mr. Newton and the likes! Ending with the Haute Couture and Menswear shows in Paris this week the chic street style seen throughout the shows across Europe did not dwindle.

It would be impossible to summarize all the runway shows and off the catwalk action in one post!
So I've broken it down and discovered there is a unique quality in the way in which 'chicness' is represented.
It's a Euro Thing.

First up is [Street Style: Colour] and with that comes:
Think Pink.
Pastel Sorbet.
and
Black Out.

I've highlighted some of my *FAVS*, which are yours?

Think Pink.

In the moment!! *FAV*
*FAV*
Olivia Palermo is perfection wearing a Valentino dress and Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
*FAV*
Susie from Style Bubble in acid pink rocking that jacket in more ways than one!
I love this outfit! She looks as relaxed and comfortable as if she was in her PJ's! The reflective glasses top it off. *FAV*

So Parisian!

Pastel Sorbet.

I really hate bugs, but Shala Monroque's giant bug brooch by Delfina Delettrez is just so cool!
(She actually wore it on a few different outfits during the fashion shows.)
This has to be a *FAV* if only for the hat!

There is a HINT OF MINT going on in these next few outfits.

Black Out.

So simple, yet so chic!! LOVE! *FAV*

Anja Rubik absolutely rocking it!
The double layer coat and jacket practical and perfect. I love the fur on the jacket as an alternative to a fur vest. *FAV*

There is still so much more STREET STYLE to come...
